Sofwave uses controlled ultrasound energy delivered to the mid-dermis while integrated cooling helps protect the skin surface. The treatment is designed to stimulate remodeling rather than add volume or physically reposition tissue like a thread.

No. Sofwave is not positioned like a monthly RF facial. Official Sofwave patient information describes visible results after a single treatment for many patients, with change developing gradually over the following weeks as remodeling occurs. Maintenance timing should be individualized.

Both are energy-based categories, but Sofwave uses ultrasound rather than radiofrequency. If you have been receiving RF treatments elsewhere, tell Dr. Hussain the device name, area and timing so she can plan around your previous treatments.

Sofwave addresses skin laxity and remodeling. RHA filler addresses volume and structural support. PDO threads address selected tissue-approximation or suspension goals. A patient can have more than one aging mechanism, so the correct comparison starts with what is actually changing in the face.

Many patients are treated with a single session initially, but treatment planning and maintenance vary by age, degree of laxity, area and response.
Some early change may be noticed sooner, but Sofwave describes progressive improvement over roughly 12 weeks as collagen remodeling develops.
Sofwave is designed as a low-downtime treatment, but temporary redness, swelling, tenderness or other reactions can occur.
No nonsurgical treatment should be presented as equivalent to surgery. Sofwave may be appropriate for selected mild-to-moderate laxity concerns; more advanced tissue descent may require a different discussion.
Inara offers Sofwave Acne Scars as a service option. Scar type should still be assessed because acne scars are heterogeneous and may require different or combined approaches.
