What neuromodulators do
DAXXIFY and Jeuveau are botulinum toxin products used to temporarily reduce activity in selected facial muscles. For their FDA-approved cosmetic indication, both are used for moderate to severe glabellar frown lines in adults. Other aesthetic treatment areas may involve off-label use and should be discussed during consultation.

Does DAXXIFY always last six months?
No. Six months is not a guarantee for every patient. DAXXIFY clinical studies support a longer median duration for glabellar lines, but real-world longevity varies. Some people metabolize neuromodulators faster, and treatment area, dose and muscle activity also matter.

Not everyone wants or needs the longest possible treatment interval. Jeuveau may fit someone who prefers a shorter commitment, has responded well to it previously, wants to evaluate neuromodulator treatment before choosing a longer-duration option, or is working within a different budget.

What neither product does
Neuromodulators address muscle activity. They do not replace lost facial volume, directly tighten loose skin, erase acne scars, or correct every static line. RHA filler, Sofwave, microneedling, VI Peel or another approach may be more relevant depending on the concern.
