MESOTOX/MEBOBOTOX

Mesotox: The "Glass Skin" Treatment in Glen Cove

Imagine skin that looks airbrushed, even without makeup. Poreless, matte, and glowing. This isn’t just a fantasy—it’s Mesotox (also known as Micro-Botox), the secret behind the flawless “Glass Skin” look favored by celebrities.

At Inara Med Spa, we specialize in this refined technique. Unlike a facial that works on the surface, Mesotox works intra-dermally to change how your skin behaves.

Mesotox vs. Regular Tox: What is the Difference?

Many patients are confused about how this differs from a standard wrinkle treatment. The difference lies in depth and dosage.

  • Regular Tox (Jeuveau/Botox): Injected deep into the muscle belly. Its goal is to stop muscle movement to paralyze wrinkles (like the “11s” or forehead lines).
  • Mesotox: Dr. Hussain uses diluted Jeuveau and injects it superficially into the dermis (skin layer) using micro-needles. It does not target the muscle; it targets the sweat glands, oil glands, and erector pili muscles of the skin.

The Result: You retain full facial movement (no “frozen” look), but your skin canvas becomes tighter and smoother.

The Benefits: Why Choose Mesotox?

This is the ultimate skin-polishing treatment for patients who struggle with texture issues rather than deep wrinkles.

  1. Shrink Enlarged Pores

By targeting the erector pili muscles (which control pore opening), Mesotox relaxes the skin, causing pores to visibly shrink and tighten.

  1. Control Oil & Acne

It reduces the activity of sebaceous (oil) glands. This is a game-changer for patients with an oily T-zone or adult acne. Less oil means fewer breakouts and a matte, velvety finish.

  1. The “Glass Skin” Glow

By smoothing the skin’s surface tension, light reflects off your face more evenly, creating that coveted, radiant “glass” effect.

  1. Reduce Redness & Flushing

It can help calm the capillaries involved in facial flushing, making it an excellent option for Rosacea-prone skin.

Physician-Led Precision

Mesotox is highly technique-dependent. It requires an incredibly steady hand to perform a series of precise manual micro-injections at a uniform depth to avoid any adverse effects

Dr. Attia Hussain’s background in procedural medicine ensures the product is placed at the exact depth required to target the skin glands without affecting the muscles below. We do not use “cocktails” mixed with unproven vitamins; we use pure, diluted Jeuveau for predictable, medical-grade results.

Your Mesotox Questions, Answered

Is Mesotox a facial or microneedling?

No. While some spas use a stamping device, Dr. Hussain performs Mesotox as a series of individual micro-injections. This allows for greater precision in targeting problem areas like the nose or chin.

How long does Mesotox last?

You will see the “glass skin” effect develop over 7-14 days. Results typically last about 3 to 4 months. Because the results are so addictive, many of our Glen Cove patients schedule this seasonally to maintain that filtered look year-round.

Is there downtime?

Very little. You may have tiny, mosquito-bite-like bumps (wheals) at the injection sites for a few hours immediately after the procedure. These subside quickly. You can go back to work the next day with glowing skin.

Does it hurt?

We apply a topical BLT numbing cream for 30 minutes prior to treatment to ensure your comfort. The procedure feels like tiny, quick pinches. Most patients find it very tolerable.
