Why Do “11 Lines” Form Between the Brows?
Frowning, concentrating and squinting repeatedly activate the muscles between your eyebrows.
Over time, those repeated contractions can create vertical creases—often called: 11 lines, frown lines, glabellar lines, worry lines, lines between the eyebrows.

Treatment
DAXXIFY® is administered through small injections into specifically selected muscles.
For treatment of FDA-approved glabellar lines, it is injected into muscles involved in frowning
After Treatment
Most patients can return to normal daily activities after their appointment, although you will receive personalized post-treatment instructions.
Results
Results are not instantaneous.

The effect gradually changes over time as muscle activity returns.
How Long Does DAXXIFY® Last?
This is probably the question we hear most often.
In clinical studies of glabellar lines, more than half of patients still had no or minor frown lines at

That does not mean every patient will get exactly six months of correction.

No. Neurotoxin treatment is temporary. Lines that are deeply etched into the skin while your face is at rest may also involve changes in the skin itself, so additional treatments may sometimes be recommended.
Treatment should be based more on your anatomy, muscle activity and goals than on chasing a particular age. Dr. Hussain can determine whether treatment makes sense for you after evaluating your face.
Neurotoxin treatment generally involves minimal downtime, although temporary injection-site reactions can occur. You’ll receive specific aftercare instructions following treatment.
DAXXIFY® is FDA-approved for its indicated use. Like all prescription medications, it carries potential risks and side effects. The most commonly reported adverse reactions in clinical studies included headache, eyelid drooping and facial muscle weakness.
DAXXIFY and other botulinum toxin products also carry a boxed warning because toxin effects can rarely spread away from the injection site and cause serious symptoms, including swallowing or breathing difficulties.
